StappCounter uses your device's built-in motion sensors to count steps. Accuracy depends on your device's sensors and how you carry your phone. For best results, keep your phone in your pocket or bag while walking.

Location permissions are required to track your routes, calculate your speed, and provide navigation features. If you don't want to use these features, you can deny location permissions, but some functionality will be limited.

Yes, most of StappCounter's features work offline. Step counting, distance calculation, and calorie tracking work without internet connection. However, weather information and some map features require internet access.

StappCounter automatically backs up your data to your device's local storage. You can manage backup settings in the Settings tab under "Data Backup". You can also export your data in JSON or CSV format.

StappCounter uses motion sensors and location services (if enabled) to track your activity. These features can consume battery. To reduce battery usage:

• Disable location tracking when not needed
• Adjust location accuracy in Settings tab
• Limit background app refresh

To reset your statistics, go to the Settings tab and tap "Reset Statistics". Please note that this action cannot be undone.
